For most Deco models, we recommend up to 6 units in one Wi-Fi Backhaul Deco Mesh network. If you are using advanced Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 models like Deco X90, XE200, BE65, BE85, or BE95, you can add more units if necessary.

If you plan to use Ethernet Backhaul or a Hybrid Network (both Ethernet and Wi-Fi Backhaul), there is theoretically no limit to the number of Deco units you can add. However, for Wi-Fi 5 models like Deco E4, M4, or P9, we still recommend up to 6 units for optimal performance. For Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 models, you can add more units as needed.

Important Tips:
1. Adding more Deco units does not always improve wireless throughput and stability if your current setup already provides sufficient coverage without dead zones.
2. The actual performance may vary based on your house layout, obstacles, and the distance between Deco units.
