Contains 20 times more vitamin C than an orange and is considered a rejuvenator in Ayurvedic medicine.

Amla provides broad-spectrum antioxidant support and has been used to preserve youthful skin health and appearance.1 Amla contains tannins that have been shown to improve endothelial function and safely help maintain healthy levels of all three key blood lipids — LDL, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), and triglycerides — as well as C-reactive protein.2,3  It has shown an ability to improve hemoglobin A1c in a study of individuals with type 2 diabetes, indicating improved management of glucose levels.
